"What do you think is the biggest technical challenge in commercial aviation today?"

This framework shows that you think rigorously under uncertainty — a core competency for any Airbus engineering role.

"What programming languages or simulation tools have you used?"

Be specific and honest about your level of proficiency and the context in which you used each tool. "I used ANSYS Mechanical for the finite element analysis in my dissertation — I modelled a composite beam in bending and validated the results against analytical predictions" is strong. "I've used CATIA V5 for basic part modelling in my second-year design project, but I wouldn't claim deep proficiency" is honest and acceptable.
